Silverstein Named A-10 Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, Conte Tabbed Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON – University of Delaware men's lacrosse's Colton Silverstein and Scott Conte earned A-10 weekly awards after their performances against UMass, the league announced Monday. Silverstein was named the conference's defensive player of the week, while Conte was tabbed the league's rookie of the week.
Silverstein posted a career-high 18 saves, including a stop in the final seconds, as Delaware outlasted UMass, 8-7. Conte was superb at the faceoff X, winning 11-of-16 faceoffs and scooping 10 ground balls, tying the career mark he set last week.
The Fightin' Blue Hens will play at Delaware Stadium for the final time in 2026, hosting St. Bonaventure on Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+.
