Roberts, Dunigan Earn CUSA Women’s Golf All-Academic Team Selections

DALLAS – The University of Delaware women's golf team had a pair of student-athletes earn a spot on the Conference USA 2025-26 Women's Golf All-Academic Teams, as announced by the league office. Sophomore Kate Roberts was selected to the first team, while junior Mary Grace Dunigan received a nod on the second team.
For consideration for CUSA's first All-Academic team, nominees must have a 3.9 cumulative grade point average, must have participated in 75 percent of the team's scheduled tournaments this season and should be a sophomore class standing. For consideration for CUSA's second All-Academic team, nominees must have a 3.75 cumulative grade point average or higher and have participated in at least 75% of their team's scheduled tournaments this season.
A political science major, Roberts boasts a 4.0 cumulative GPA and was selected to the Dean's List in the fall during her first semester at UD. She has played in all 10 tournaments in her first season with the Fightin' Blue Hens, registering a 75.57 stroke average in 30 rounds. She has two top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at The Nashville Invitational (Lipscomb) where Delaware won its second tournament of the year. Roberts was twice named the CUSA Women's Golfer of the Week this spring and has recorded four rounds at even or under par.
Dunigan, a biological sciences major, owns a 3.84 cumulative GPA. She was a 2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar and is a three-time member of the Dean's List at Delaware. Dunigan is third on the team with a 74.80 stroke average in 30 rounds this season, having played in all 10 tournaments. She has a pair of top-10 finishes, highlighted by tying for third at the Badger Invitational (Wisconsin) in the fall, and has recorded a team-leading nine rounds at even or under par

The Blue Hens head to Texas this weekend to compete in the 2026 CUSA Women's Golf Championship. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held April 20-22 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.
