Conte Earns Spot on USILA DI Team of the Week for Second Time

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Delaware men's lacrosse's Scott Conte earned a spot on the USILA DI Team of the Week after his performance against St. Bonaventure, the organization announced Wednesday. It is the second time the freshman has earned the honor this year.
Conte won 26 faceoffs, the most in a single game in the country this season and tied for the third most in program history, as the University of Delaware men's lacrosse team bested St. Bonaventure, 19-16. The Wayne, N.J. native's 26 faceoff wins are the most in the nation in a single game by a freshman since 2020. The rookie also had a career-best 17 ground balls, which is tied for seventh most in a game in program history, and he added an assist for his first-career point.
The Fightin' Blue Hens will head to Saint Joseph's on Friday, April 24 at 4 p.m. to close out the regular season. The game will air on ESPN+.
