Conte Earns A-10 Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, Lathrop Tabbed Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON – University of Delaware men's lacrosse's Scott Conte and Keegan Lathrop earned A-10 weekly awards after their performances against Hobart, the league announced Monday. Conte was named the conference's defensive player of the week, while Lathrop was tabbed the league's rookie of the week. It is the first-career conference weekly award for both players.

Conte scooped a career-best 10 ground balls while winning 16-of-18 faceoffs as UD earned its first-ever Atlantic 10 Conference victory, defeating the Hobart Statesmen, 12-6. Lathrop recorded his first-career hat trick, scoring four goals to go with one assist for a career-best five points to lead the team.

The Fightin' Blue Hens will travel to UMass on Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+.
