Men’s Basketball Completes Roster with Signing of Favour Egbuna

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's basketball program signed freshman Favour Egbuna to the 2026-27 roster, head coach Martin Ingelsby announced Saturday. Egbuna will join the Fightin' Blue Hens from Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut.
"We are excited to welcome Favour to our Blue Hen basketball family," Ingelsby said. "He brings great size and strength to our front court and his versatility will allow us to play him all over the floor. Welcome to Newark, Favour!"
The 6-9 forward spent the 2025-26 season as a starter at the Putnam Science Academy and on the Jet Academy EYBL team. Prior to Putman, Ebguna attended Lighthouse Private Christian Academy for the spring of 2025. He attended Junior Secondary School III (ninth grade), Senior Secondary School I (tenth grade), and Senior Secondary School II (eleventh grade) in Nigeria.
