Marose, McLaughlin Earn CSC Academic All-District

NEWARK, Del. – Graduate student Doug Marose and Junior Ryan McLaughlin from the University of Delaware baseball program received Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a player must carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore academically. Position players must also play in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start in at least two-thirds of them to qualify. For pitchers, eligible nominees need to pitch 35-plus innings or appear in 17 games as a pitcher.
Marose appeared in 12 games and made 11 starts in the 2026 season. He pitched 46.2 innings and struck out 28 batters.
McLaughlin appeared in 17 games and made eight starts in 2026 season. He led the team in innings pitched (59.2) and was second in strikeouts (42).
