Men's Lacrosse Welcomes 2027 Newcomers

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men's lacrosse program has added 15 newcomers for the 2027 season, head coach Ben DeLuca announced Friday.
The 15-member class, which is made up of 10 freshmen and five transfers, features recruits from eight states (Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia) as well as Canada.

Bio: Graduated from Loyola Blakefield in 2026… Was a three-year starter and one-time captain in high school… Named First Team All-MIAA and First Team All-Metro... Led team in points his junior and senior year including 54 as a senior… Also played basketball… Son of Candace and Sandy Cook… Has a brother, Mason, who plays lacrosse at Loyola (Md.)… Mother, Candace, attended UD… Father, Sandy, played lacrosse at Gettysburg College.

Had 70 points as a senior… Also played basketball for two years and golf for one year… Son of Karen Cetera… Has a sister, Mackenzie… Cousin, Bryson Kolinsky, is a teammate on the men's lacrosse team at UD.
