NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware women's soccer program welcomed former Coastal Athletic Association foe Towson to Grant Stadium and concluded in a 0-0 tie on Thursday.

With the result, the Fightin' Blue Hens record is 2-0-2.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS

Maggie Groh led the way offensively with five shots, and three shots on goal. Gabby Riley had three shots, with one shot on goal.
Sophia Hall earned her first shutout of the season and had four saves.
Hall, along with defenders Maura Fisher and Calista Collins played in all 90 minutes

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Blue Hens best chance of the game came in the 34^th and 35 minutes. UD had three consecutive shots on goal in the span of seven seconds.
UD's first shots came from Groh; her first shot was saved while the second was blocked by Tigers defender. Riley hit the third shot in the sequence down the center of the net but hit off the leg of a Tigers defender resulting in a team save.

GAME NOTES

Hall records her seventh shutout in her collegiate career, which is tied for 10^th best in program history.
This is the second-consecutive season the Blue Hens are unbeaten under fourth-year head coach Kelly Lawrence through the first four games.

UP NEXT
Delaware hosts UMBC on Sunday, August 30 at Grant Stadium. UD celebrates senior day and will honor five student athletes: Cassandra Saldarini, Willa Pratt, Taisiya Reid, Groh and Collins.
