Update on Fred P. Rullo Stadium Construction

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware's Fred P. Rullo Stadium has been undergoing renovations this summer and will not be ready for the start of the 2026 field hockey season, the Department of Athletics and Campus Recreation announced Wednesday. Home games set for August and September will be played elsewhere, with the stadium being anticipated to be completed for contests in October.
In the meantime, the Fightin' Blue Hens will practice at Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware, beginning with preseason practices and running through the completion of renovations.
The following changes have been made to the games scheduled in August and September:
Fans who have purchased tickets to Delaware field hockey games will be contacted individually for follow up. Stay informed by checking bluehens.com and the field hockey social media channels at the links below.
