NEWARK, Del.– The University of Delaware men's soccer team beat LIU 3-2 at Grant Stadium on Friday night.

With the win, the Fightin' Blue Hens overall record becomes 4-2-3 on the season.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS
- Colin Kelly scored his first-career goal in the 13th minute of play. It was assisted by German Argueta and Freddy Jeffreys.
- Mikey Johnson found the back of the net in his first appearance this season off of assists from Jeffreys and Frederik Flaskager.
- German Argueta recorded his second of the season in the 58th minute of the game. It was assisted by Flaskager.
- Eric Widrick made two saves in goal for UD.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- LIU opened up scoring with a penalty kick goal in the 10th minute of the game.
- Kelly responded for the Hens with a his first-collegiate goal that was assisted by Argueta and Jeffreys, keeping it tied after the first half.
- The Sharks struck first in half two.
- Delaware returned the favor with two goals within two minutes by Johnson and Argueta.

GAME NOTES
- Johnson made his first appearance for the Hens this season.
- UD scored two goals in just over two minutes by Johnson (55:21) and Argueta (57:32).
- Delaware remains undefeated at home in its last 12 matches at Grant (11-0-1).
