Men's Soccer Tops Lehigh at Grant Stadium

NEWARK, Del.– The University of Delaware men's soccer team beat Lehigh 1-0 at Grant Stadium on Tuesday night.
With the win, the Fightin' Blue Hens overall record becomes 6-2-4 on the season.
HEN HIGHLIGHTS
- Rich Monath scored his first goal of the season off of assists by German Argueta and Frederik Flaskager. This was Argueta's fifth assists this year and Flaskager's fourth.
- Eric Widrick made three saves in goal and recorded his fifth shutout of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both keepers made one save in the first half to keep the score knotted at zero heading into the locker room.
- Monath scored the game-winning goal in the 74th minute of play.
GAME NOTES
- Delaware remains undefeated at home in its last 14 matches at Grant (13-0-1).
- The Hens recorded their fifth shutout on the season.
