AT DELAWARE
Fourth-year member of the squad as a senior • one of 10 seniors and one of 22 Delaware natives on the roster • second-year in UD backfield after moving over from linebacker during 2015 preseason drills • joins senior Jalen Randolph, junior Wes Hills, and sophomores Thomas Jefferson and Kareem Williams to give Delaware one of the most potent backfield combinations in the country • can be a punishing runner and effective in short yardage situations • has played in 24 career games and recorded nine tackles • rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Blue-White spring game in May.
2015 SEASON (GAME BY GAME STATISTICS)
Earned third letter as a backup running back and special teams player • moved over to fullback in spring drills • served in a backup role in a loaded UD backfield during the fall • played in all 11 games and recorded two tackles and recovered a fumble on special teams, carried once for five yards (vs. Villanova), and returned a kickoff seven yards at Towson • had special teams tackles against Lafayette and Villanova and recovered a fumble in win over New Hampshire • named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Practice Player of the Week vs. Wm. & Mary • had two tackles and intercepted a pass in the Blue-White spring game in May • carried out the state of Delaware flag vs. William & Mary.
2014 SEASON
Earned second letter as a backup linebacker and special teams performer • saw action in 10 games and recorded four tackles (three solo) • did not play vs. Rhode Island and Albany late in the season • made stops vs. James Madison, Elon, Towson, and William & Mary over a five-game span • selected by coaching staff to carry out the Delaware state flag in game vs. Sacred Heart • recorded a tackle in the Blue-White Spring Game.
2013 SEASON
Enrolled at Delaware in the spring and took part in spring drills • grayshirt who attended nearby Delaware Technical Community College in the fall • saw action in three games as a grayshirt freshman to earn letter • one of just three true freshmen to see action for Delaware defense on the season • played linebacker and on special teams vs. Navy, Wagner, and Maine • recorded three tackles on the season, including a solo stop vs. Navy and assisted stops vs. Wagner and Maine • selected by coaching staff to carry out the Delaware state flag in game vs. Navy • recorded four tackles and forced a fumble in Blue-White Spring Game.
HIGH SCHOOL
Local product who played at St. Elizabeth High School for head coach Joe Hemphill • played running back and linebacker at St. Elizabeth • led team to 6-3 record as a senior in 2011 when he recorded 94 tackles and rushed for 1,348 yards and 16 touchdowns • named state DIAA Defensive Player of the Year in both 2010 and 2011 • earned first team All-State and All-Catholic League honors at both running back and linebacker • earned 2011 Michael DeLucia Sportsmanship Award, presented annually to a senior football player from a Delaware Catholic high school • played in state Blue-Gold All-Star Game in 2012 at Delaware Stadium.

Eric Dwight Anthony Patton • son of Erica Patton and Quazo Watson • criminal justice major at Delaware • younger brother, Andre, was one of the state's top football and basketball players at St. Elizabeth High School and is currently a senior wide receiver at Rutgers • Andre has played in 32 games over three seasons at Rutgers and caught 57 passes for 704 yards and five touchdowns.
