Chris Bresnahan begins his third season in 2027 as the Recruiting Coordinator and outfield coach for the University of Delaware baseball program. In his first two seasons with the Blue Hens, Bresnahan has made an immediate impact on the program’s recruiting and player development efforts, helping build a talented and competitive roster.Â
Bresnahan joined Delaware after spending 10 seasons at UNC Asheville, where he served as the Bulldogs’ Recruiting Coordinator and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2022. During his tenure, he played a key role in recruiting and developing some of the most accomplished players in program history, including all-time home run leader Brandon Lankford (52), all-time saves leader Kole Harris (17), and 2024 Big South Preseason Player of the Year Robbie Burnett.Â
A New Jersey native, Bresnahan, was a four-year letterwinner and team captain at Elon University, where he helped lead the Phoenix to NCAA Regional appearances in 2010 and 2013. He capped his playing career by earning a spot on the 2013 Charlottesville All-Regional Team.Â
Bresnahan and his wife, Melissa, have a son, Cameron, and a daughter, Emma.Â
