COACH VAN DE KERKHOF SAYS
"Lizzie and her family are familiar faces to UD, as her sister currently enjoys the student experience and her father’s company works on projects on campus and in Newark. Lizzie displayed an outstanding goalkeeping career at Unionville HS and WC Eagles FHC. She knows what it takes to be a great goalkeeper as she has been challenged by many of the best players in the Mid-Atlantic. Her energy, communication and leadership qualities will allow her to bring lots of good to our goalkeeping unit, players group and program.”
WHY DELAWARE?
"I fell in love with the University of Delaware at a young age, as I got to watch my older sister and two cousins grow and have an experience of a lifetime as Blue Hens. The University of Delaware is a wonderful school academically, and I truly believe that it will help me be on a successful track after college. I feel at home when I step on campus and love the welcoming atmosphere I am surrounded by. UD is only about 40 minutes away from my house so I made it easy for all of my fans to be able to continue to watch and support me through college. I am more than excited to be able to experience all of the reason I chose Delaware."
