As A Blue Hen: Freshman who will look to contribute immediately to the Delaware backcourt.
High School: Played junior year at Indian Land High School (S.C.) and senior year at Evelyn Mack Academy in Charlotte, N.C. • led Indian Land to a 21-9 record and a spot in the 2011 state semifinals • All-State selection and conference Player of the Year • led the state in scoring • averaged 29.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.6 steals a a junior • eclipsed the 30-point mark nine times, including a season-high 56 points during a win over Central High School • averaged 29.3 points per game as a senior, leading Mack Academy to the second round.
Personal: Terrell Thomas Rogers • son of Shawnta and Sherrell Rogers • has not declared a major at Delaware • father was a four-year standout at George Washington from 1996-99 and is the school’s career leader in assists, steals and minutes played • Shawnta was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and earned the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award (best player under six feet) in 1999, when he led the nation in steals • he was named to the George Washington Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
