One of the top women’s lacrosse goalkeepers in NCAA history, Kim Jackson led the Blue Hens to three national lacrosse titles and one third place finish for UD Hall of Fame and National Lacrosse Hall of Fame coach Janet Smith as Delaware built a dynasty in the early 1980’s.
Jackson solidified the Delaware defense in the net, remarkably playing every minute of all 70 games during her career. She led the squad to a four-year record of 60-9-1, Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) national titles in 1981 and 1982, an NCAA Division I title in 1983, and a third place NCAA finish and East Coast Conference crown in 1984.

She served for numerous years as a physical education teacher at West Chester (Pa.) Henderson High School where she served as field hockey head coach and girl’s lacrosse head coach until retiring in 2015. She was inducted into the Chester (Pa.) County Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.Â
