University of Delaware Baseball to Host Annual Golf Outing and Alumni Tailgate October 14-15

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware baseball team will host its annual golf outing and alumni and friends tailgate prior to the Blue Hens football game at 3:30 p.m. on the weekend of October 14-15.
This year's golf outing will be hosted on Friday, October 14 at The Club at Patriots Glen in Elkton, Md. Cost is $150 per player and includes lunch prior to tee off and a buffet dinner following the round. Tees can
also be sponsored for $100 each.
There will be an awards presentation during the buffet dinner with the first and second place low gross scoring teams being honored. There will also be prizes for the longest drive and closest-to-the-pin.
Check-in for the event begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled for 12 noon.

Along with Parents and Family Weekend, the baseball team will have its annual UD Baseball Alumni and Friends Tailgate prior to the October 15 football game against Massachusetts. The tailgate will begin at 12:30 and will run until kickoff of the football game starting at 3:30 p.m.
A tent will be located along the turf practice fields at the north end of Delaware Stadium and next to Bob Hannah Stadium. There is no cost to attend and UD Dining Services will provide food & beverages.
Delaware baseball head coach Jim Sherman will honor three alumni and members of the 200-Hit Club at the tailgate: Chris Kolodzey (1998-01), Todd Davison (2003-06) and Bryan Hagerich (2004-07).
