Heim and Milla Pair up For Doubles, Advance to SJU Invitational Doubles Flight 2 Semifinals

Heim and Milla enjoyed the No. 1 seed in the Doubles Flight 2 Bracket, getting a first-round bye. The Blue Hen pair met up with Tara Walsh and Laura Matz of Saint Joseph's, cruising into the semifinals with an 8-1 victory.
The Delaware pair faces Aysenil Orhon and Mel Reyes from Drexel University in the semifinals for a chance at the Doubles Flight 2 title.
Senior Samantha Carnall and freshman Christina Harrington dropped their first match, but rebounded in the first round of the Doubles Flight 1 Consolation bracket with an 8-0 sweep of Katherine Charchalls and Austin Denesuk from Lafayette.
Delaware resumes action on Saturday for the all-day event. Tomorrow's action, which will kick off at 12:30 p.m., will feature both singles and doubles action.
