Be a Part of Go Blue or Go Home Promotion as the University of Delaware Field Hockey Takes on #1 North Carolina Friday

NEWARK, Del. -- Come out and support the University of Delaware field hockey team as the Blue Hens take on the nation's top-ranked team on Friday in the Blue Hens' Go Blue or Go Home promotion at Rullo Stadium.
All fans are encouraged to wear Delaware Blue in the stands to root on the Blue Hens against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Game action will begin at 4 p.m.
As part of the Go Blue or Go Home promotion, the first 200 spectators through the gates will receive a Blue Hen fan.
The game will also be the first Family Fun Friday event of the 2011 season as fans can purchase two adult and two youth tickets for only $10 by calling the ticket office before noon on Friday.
In addition, all University of Delaware faculty and staff can receive $1 admission to the game with a UD staff ID. This offer is only available for single game, game day sales.
The Blue Hens are taking on the nation's top-ranked opponent for the first time since a 2009 meeting vs. Maryland. Delaware has played five top-ranked opponents, all against Maryland, since 1996.
This will be the Hens' fourth meeting against North Carolina as the Tar Heels hold a 2-1 series advantage. The first meeting, a 3-1 Blue Hen victory, was in 1981.
