Young, a senior righthanded pitcher from Redlands, Calif. (Redlands East Valley HS/Riverside City College), and Powell, a redshirt freshman outfielder from Marlton, N.J. Powell, a the son of former Blue Hen standout Todd Powell (Delaware '87), enjoyed an outstanding week as he batted .636 in the four games, going 7 for 11 at the plate and posting multiple hits in three of the contests. He also had a double, knocked in four runs, sported a .727 slugging percentag, stole a base, and was perfect in the field with four putouts.
