Inclement Weather Forces Postponement of Delaware Baseball?s Route 1 Rivalry Game Versus Del. State Today

NEWARK, Del. –Due to heavy amounts of freezing rain and snow throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, Wednesday's baseball game between the University of Delaware and Delaware State has been postponed.
A tentative date to reschedule the postponed game has not been set.
Delaware (6-4) and Delaware State (5-5) will play their scheduled game on Wednesday, March 13 at Delaware State's Soldier Field.
The Blue Hens are looking to snap a two-game losing streak to the Hornets after DSU swept UD last season.
Following a 12-4 victory over UMBC on Tuesday, the Blue Hens are riding a three-game winning streak as they open Colonial Athletic Association play with a three-game weekend series at Towson. The series begins on Friday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Towson's John B. Schuerholz Park.
