Football Military Appreciation Day

THANK YOU SERVICE MEN & WOMEN: FREE ADMISSION!
All active, reserve and veteran/retiree military personnel were invited to register online in advance to receive complimentary admission to the UD Football vs. Villanova game at Delaware Stadium on Saturday, 11/22. Kick-off is at 12 p.m.
Those that registered for game tickets in advance should pick up their tickets at the Ticket Services kiosk in the Newark Toyota World Fan Zone between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Any tickets that are not picked up by 12 p.m. will be located at the main will call window by the west main gate of Delaware Stadium.
A complimentary voucher redeemable for one (1) hot dog and fountain drink will be available for the registered military member in attendance (not per ticket requested) at the designated Military Appreciation Will Call on gameday.
PREGAME FESTIVITIES
Operation Gratitude Collection Drive
Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000+ Care Packages to deployed Troops, New Recruits, Veterans, Wounded Warriors & their Care Givers. All fans in attendance are asked to consider donating any of the listed WISH LIST items to help Operation Gratitude show our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Marines they are not alone! Also, personal letters of appreciation from the Blue Hens are graciously welcomed to be included with donated items.
Collection locations will be outside both the West and East gate entrances of Delaware Stadium during pregame.

Stop by the Newark Toyota World Fan Zone during pregame 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and fill out a thank you or holiday card to be included with the collected Operation Gratitude wish list items. Say thank you to our service men and women and/or wish those deployed overseas from their families a happy holiday. Homemade cards and letters of appreciation are welcome too and can be collected here as well, or at either of the Operation Gratitude collection locations (listed above).
Operation Military Kids
UD Athletics is proud to host Delaware Operation Military Kids and their families. Delaware Operation Military Kids is a program for geographically dispersed military youth throughout Delaware that do not reside on a base. They also run the Delaware Military 4-H program called Soring Eagles 4-H Club for youth that are on the Dover Air Force Base. Look on-field during pregame as members of Delaware Operation Military Kids line the tunnel with the UD Marching Band to high five Blue Hens Football as they take the field for the game.
