RICHMOND, Va. – On the eve of the 2014 Colonial Athletic Association Field Hockey Championships, the University of Delaware had seven players receive All-CAA accolades, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Headlining the individual honors are junior Michaela Patzner (Rosenheim, Germany/Karolinen Gymnasium) and sophomore Esmée Peet (Zeewolde, The Netherlands/RSG Slingerbos). Each was named to the All-CAA First Team for the second consecutive season.
Patzner currently leads the Blue Hens with 29 points on 10 goals and a team-best nine assists. The midfielder has garnered All-CAA recognition all three seasons during her time at Delaware.
