Sophomore Esm?e Peet Tabbed NFHCA All-America Second Team Selection

CHANDLER, Ariz. – For the second consecutive season, the University of Delaware field hockey team was named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American as sophomore Esmée Peet (Zeewolde, The Netherlands/RSG Slingerbos) earned Second Team honors Monday.
An All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team honoree in back-to-back seasons, Peet finished second on the UD squad and sixth in the league with 27 points off 11 goals and five assists. The midfielder earned CAA All-Tournament honors after posting a goal in the finals against James Madison.
Rolf van de KerkhofLast season, junior Michaela Patzner (Rosenheim, Germany/Karolinen Gymnasium) collected Third Team accolades. She was the first Blue Hen to be picked by the NFHCA since Amanda Warrington was a Second Team selection in 2004.
In total, Delaware has had seven players honored by the NFHCA and 19 all-time All-Americans selected by different organizations.
