UD held strong against arguably one of the best offenses in the nation Tuesday evening, but #rv Princeton was just too much in the end as the Blue Hens fell to the Tigers, 87-59, at the Bob Carpenter Center. Courtni Green led Delaware (4-4) with 18 points while chipping in five assists and five rebounds. Joy Caracciolo added 14 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots while Hannah Jardine collected 12 points and four rebounds. Princeton (11-0) led by just three with five minutes remaining in the first half, but put the pressure on and went up by 45-33 to go into the locker room at halftime. The Tigers didn't let up in the second half and never let the Hens closer than 11 before taking a 29-point advantage with three minutes left on the clock.
HEN SCRATCHINGS
· The Blue Hens currently rank first in the CAA and fifth nationally with a .402 three-point shooting percentage (37-29). The only other top 100 ranking Delaware holds is rebounding margin, as the Hens are 97th in the NCAA at +4.0.
· With 86 career 3-point field goals made, junior Courtni Green is eighth in the Delaware history books.

· This is the first-ever meeting between Delaware and Northern Kentucky in program history.
· The two teams' lone common opponent this season is Cincinnati.
· Martin has never faced the Norse.
· Dawn Plitzuweit is in her third season as the head coach of the Norse. While at NKU, Plitzuweit has compiled a 39-31 overall record, and she boasts a 156-71 career record in seven years as a head coach.
· Plitzuweit spent the previous five years as the associate head coach at the University of Michigan. Prior to Michigan, Plitzuweit spent five years as the head coach at Grand Valley State University. Under her direction, the Lakers earned four postseason berths and won the NCAA Division II national championship in 2005-06.
