Ten Delaware Swimmers Set to Compete at 2014 AT&T Winter National Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Delaware men's and women's swimming team will send 10 swimmers to Greensboro, N.C. to compete in the 2014 AT&T Winter National Championships beginning Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Complex.
The event, which features some of the best swimmers in the country, will take place over four days and UD swimmers will participate in 21 total events. To participate in the Winter National Championships, each individual swimmer had to achieve the qualifying standard time for each event between Nov. 1 and Nov. 25.
On the men's side, six Blue Hens will be competing this week. Alex Tooley will be participating in the most events for UD as the junior will compete in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 Breaststroke.
Cory Camp, Alex Hillsley, Patrick Savidge, and Tim Ware will each be competing in two events, while Greg Neidlinger will swim in just one event for Delaware.
For the women's squad, Annie Nunes will swim in three events as the sophomore will compete in the 200 IM, 100 backstroke, and 200 breaststroke. Morgan Whyte, Dominique Montoya, and Alyssa Sanders will each participate in two events.
The Winter Championships will begin Wednesday with four relay events. The first Blue Hen to swim will be Camp in Thursday's men's 500 freestyle race.
