NEWARK, Del. -- Three former University of Delaware football standouts who currently compete in the National Football League will make appearances when the UD football program hosts its annual Delaware Youth Camp the week of June 23.
Registration for the camp is still available but spots are filling up fast. The camp, which will be held at the UD Athletics Complex on June 23-27, is designed to teach fundamental football skills for all students ages 8-12, and not enrolled in high school.
All-time Blue Hen greats Mike Adams, Pat Devlin, and Gino Gradkowski are each scheduled to attend one of the camp days.
Adams, who led Delaware to the 2003 national title, is a 10-year NFL veteran who led the Denver Broncos to a berth in the Super Bowl this past February. Devlin, who quarterbacked the Hens to the 2010 national title game, will begin his fourth season with the Miami Dolphins this fall. Gradkowski is a third-year member of the Baltimore Ravens who started at center in 2013 after helping lead the team to the Super Bowl title following the 2012 campaign.
The cost per camper for the week is $225. Camp hours will be from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday with Friday's schedule beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 12 noon.
