ECAC Honors Emmeline Oltmans as Field Hockey Co-Rookie of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced recently that University of Delaware freshman Emmeline Oltmans (Baarn, The Netherlands/Het Baarnsch Lyceum) was named a Division I field hockey Co-Rookie of the Week.
Oltmans made five saves in the Blue Hens' 3-0 victory over Villanova last Friday for the first shutout of her career. The goalie also registered six saves in Delaware's 2-1 overtime loss at No. 19 Old Dominion Sunday.
Cornell's Kelly Johnson also earned Corvias ECAC Co-Rookie of the Week.
Earlier this week, the Colonial Athletic Association recognized Oltmans as its Rookie of the Week.
The Hens return to Fred P. Rullo Stadium this coming Sunday as Delaware hosts Fairfield at 1 p.m.
