LAST TIME OUT
UD used double-digit performances from three players in addition to 18 total free throws to defeat Hofstra, 64-53, Thursday at the Bob Carpenter Center. With the win, the Blue Hens (7-9, 2-3 CAA) put a blemish on the Pride's perfect CAA mark as Hofstra falls to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in league play. Delaware was led in scoring by Courtni Green and Erika Brown, who each had 18 points on the night. Brown had the hot hand to start the game as she scored 14 of her points in the first stanza while Green took over in the second by posting 16. Hannah Jardine added her third double double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Blue Hens had not held a double-digit advantage over Hofstra until the 3:27 mark in the second half when Green drained her 100th career three-pointer to put Delaware ahead, 56-46. With the trey, Green became just the sixth player in program history to hit the century mark in baskets behind the arc.
