LAST TIME OUT
Despite leading by as much as 17, Delaware scored just 11 points in the second stanza to fall to the College of William & Mary, 50-58, Sunday at the Bob. The Tribe (7-10, 1-5 CAA) outscored the Hens, 28-11, and held UD to just four field goals in the second half. W&M slowly chipped away at Delaware's lead in the second half and held the Blue Hens (7-10, 2-4 CAA) to just one field goal for a nearly 15-minute span. Kyla Kerstetter put the Tribe up for good, 46-45, at the 1:52 mark. UD's Erika Brown drained a 3-pointer as time expired but it was too little, too late as the Tribe rallied for their first CAA win of the year. Brown led all scorers for the third consecutive game with 19 points. Hannah Jardine added her fourth double double of the season and second in as many games with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Joy Caracciolo also collected 10 rebounds for the Blue Hens while Jodi Salyer dished out four assists and Stephanie Leon blocked three shots.
