Courtni Green scored 21 of her 23 points in the second half as Delaware defeated Towson, 72-54, Thursday evening at the Bob Carpenter Center. The Blue Hens (9-11, 4-5 CAA) led by a score of 31-23 at halftime and went up by as much as 22 in the second half. UD avenged a 56-49 loss at Towson from earlier this month. Green knocked down a season-best four 3-pointers while shooting 7-for-12 from the field. The guard added five rebounds, one assist and one steal in the victory. Hannah Jardine registered her fifth double double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Erika Brown also tallied 14 points in addition to dishing out four assists.
