The third quarter also belonged to Marist, but Delaware would not back down in the fourth and contained the Red Foxes to just one point in the final 7:45 of play.

“I can't say enough about these kids and their tenacity. This is a very small gym and we knew it was going to be a great crowd with everyone on top of you. It was a tough environment, but they kept it together. We had some breakdowns, but our kids paid attention to the coaching staff, made adjustments and executed well. When their legs went and they got tired, I thought our kids stepped up and played smart. This is a great win on the road against a very good program. We have to build off of this and continue to get better defensively.”
