The Blue Hens held Marist to just three points in the final period Thursday evening en route to a 56-50 victory at McCann Arena. For the second consecutive game, Delaware had three players in double figures while freshman Nicole Enabosi registered another double double for the Hens (2-0). The forward collected 10 points and 13 rebounds in addition to three blocks in 33 minutes of play. Erika Brown led UD with 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field to go along with five assists while Courtni Green added 12 points with four rebounds, three assists and two steals. The Red Foxes (0-3) jumped out to an 18-9 lead in the first quarter, but the Blue Hens bounced back and took the 33-30 advantage into halftime. The third quarter also belonged to Marist, but Delaware would not back down in the fourth and contained the Red Foxes to just one point in the final 7:45 of play. Tori Jarosz led all scorers with 20 points and 12 rebounds with two blocked shots for Marist.

· Delaware returns home for its final contest at the Bob Carpenter Center until December 22.
· The Blue Hens are off to the first 2-0 start since the 2011-12 season when Delaware opened with 10 consecutive victories before falling to No. 5 Maryland on Dec. 29, 2011. UD finished that campaign with a 31-2 record and its first-ever CAA title.
· Nicole Enabosi has opened her collegiate career with back-to-back double doubles, becoming the first Blue Hens freshman to do so since the 1991-92 season.

SERIES INFORMATION
· The series between Delaware and East Carolina is knotted up at 1-1.
· The Blue Hens won the first-ever meeting between the two teams, 60-40, on Dec. 28, 2011 at the Maryland Terrapin Classic.
· Last season, the Pirates collected the 89-60 win over Delaware in Greenville, N.C.
· The two teams have never paired off in Newark.
· Heather Macy (Greensboro College '00) is in her sixth season at the helm of the ECU women's basketball squad.
· Macy owns a career record of 94-64 during her tenure at ECU. During the 2014-15 campaign, she became the first coach in program history to lead the Pirates to 20 or more wins in three-straight seasons after concluding the year with a 22-11 overall record and a third WNIT appearance in as many seasons.
