Stockwell Places Fourth in One-Meter Diving Event for Delaware at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- University of Delaware senior Caitlin Stockwell was the team's top finisher during the second day of the Bucknell Invitational Saturday night as she placed fourth in the one-meter diving event at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
The UD women closed out competition at the meet Saturday and the Delaware men will finish up Sunday with the three-meter diving championship.
Stockwell, who placed eighth in the three-meter event on Friday, recorded a team score of 262.15 to lead three Blue Hen performers.
Also for the Hens, senior Kristina Congdon was sixth with a score of 244.25 while senior Kimberly Caruso was 19th with a total of 157.60 points. Congdon placed fourth in the three-meter Friday while Caruso was 21st overall.
The overall winner in the one-meter Saturday was Taryn Urbanus of Connecticut who posted a score of 293.35 to outdistance teammate Alli Butera (263.55 points).
