Nauck Earns Second Straight CAA Rookie of the Week Award

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware freshman Greta Nauck (Krefeld, Germany/Gymnasium am Moltekplatz) collected her second straight CAA Rookie of the Week accolade after guiding the Blue Hens to their fifth straight league tournament berth.
Nauck led Delaware with five points on two goals and an assist in Sunday's crucial 4-3 victory at Northeastern. With the win, the then-No. 14 Hens finished regular season play with a 14-5 overall record while going 4-2 in the CAA to earn the No. 2 seed in this coming weekend's tournament.
The midfielder is currently third on the team with 25 points on 10 goals and five assists and has earned the starting nod in nine consecutive games.
James Madison's Adrienne le Vatte was named the CAA Player of the Week.
Delaware vies for its third straight CAA title this coming weekend as it next faces the third-seeded Hofstra Pride Friday at 5:45 p.m. in the CAA semifinals at James Madison. With a win, the Hens could face either the top-seeded Dukes or fourth-seeded Drexel Dragons in Sunday's championship final.
