Delaware Softball Program Signs Five To National Letters of Intent

John Seneca has announced that five high school standouts have signed National Letters of Intent with the Blue Hens and will enroll at UD next fall.
Jess Bishop, an outfielder from East Stroudsburg, Pa., was a first team Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and Pocono Record Player of the Year as a junior. She was selected the Pocono Mountain East Team MVP, and was named to the 2015 Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup Team. A distinguished honor roll student, Bishop is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
Ali Davis, an outfielder from Tracy, Calif., was an SJCAA All-League selection last season when she ranked among the top 10 in the conference in batting. She is hitting .474 for her career, and is a Tracy High School Scholar and Athlete Sports Editor.
Courtney Dellinger, an outfielder from Middletown, Del., was a first team All-Conference selection in 2013 and 2014 while playing at nearby Hodgson Vo-Tech High School. The team's MVP in 2014, she earned third team All-State honors in 2013 before garnering second team accolades in 2014. A honor roll student, Dellinger is a member of the National Honor Society and the Health Occupation Students of America.
Madison Marsh, a pitcher from Modesto, Calif., was named the Modesto Metro Conference MVP in 2014 when she was a first team All-League pick. Marsh, a four-year varsity starter at Gregori High School, also was selected to the Academic All-League squad.
Miranda O'Donald, an outfielder from Emmaus, Pa., led Emmaus High School in batting average, on base percentage, hits, stolen bases and runs scored a year ago. A USSA MVP tournament selection, O'Donald is also a National Honor Society member who is a three-time academic achievement recognition award winner.
