LAST TIME OUT
For the fourth straight game, Delaware held a halftime lead, but was unable to finish the game on top as the Blue Hens dropped a 77-76 decision in overtime to close out regular season play. With 12 seconds remaining in regulation, Courtni Green tied the game at 67-67 with a left-handed layup coming out of a Delaware timeout. Elon was able to get back down the court, but missed a layup of its own. Erika Brown was unable to provide the game-winning heroics by missing a basket for UD as time expired. The two teams exchanged points throughout the first three minutes of the extra period until Shay Burnett knocked down a 3-pointer to give the Phoenix a 76-73 advantage with 1:40 remaining. Burnett then gave her team four-point lead by making 1-of-2 shots from the charity stripe.With less than a minute remaining, Brown was able to complete a three-point play to cut Delaware's deficit to 77-76. The Blue Hens had two final opportunities with two seconds remaining as UD missed a trey and was unable to convert on the offensive rebound. Joy Caracciolo led all scorers with 21 points to go along with seven rebounds. Green added 18 points while Brown contributed 16 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists.
HEN SCRATCHINGS
· The Blue Hens open the CAA Tournament by facing the Huskies for the second consecutive season and third time in five years.
· The Hens are 21-11 all-time in the CAA Tournament.
· The winner of Thursday's game will meet Drexel at 5 p.m. Friday in the CAA Quarterfinals.

· Delaware holds the all-time series advantage of 34-11 over Northeastern and has won 27 of the last 28 against the Huskies.
