Lisa Stacevicz Named Corvais ECAC Softball Division I South Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. -- University of Delaware junior first baseman Lisa Stacevicz earned her second honor of the week on Tuesday when she was selected the ECAC Softball Division I South Player of the Week.
Stacevicz (Cedar Grove, N.J./Cedar Grove) went 11 for 18 for a .611 batting average last week, leading the Blue Hens with seven doubles, seven RBI, a 1.167 slugging percentage and a .632 on base percentage. She has hit safely in each of the last eight contests, notching five multi-hit games and eight doubles in that span.
Stacevicz ripped an RBI double during last Monday's opener against Cornell, before adding a double and the game-winning home run in the 5-4 victory during the nightcap. She had a double in the first game vs. Morgan State on Wednesday, and finished 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI in the second contest.
Stacevicz went 2 for 4 with a run-scoring double in the 4-3 victory over Drexel during Sunday's CAA opener, before adding two doubles and a pair of RBI in the nightcap.
Stacevicz, who earned her first career CAA Player of the Week award on Monday, is currently batting .533 on the year with a .900 slugging percentage and a .563 on base percentage.
Delaware continues its homestand on Wednesday when the Blue Hens host Lehigh in a 3 p.m. non-conference doubleheader at the UD Softball Stadium.
