Davis and Niggebrugge Selected to CAA All-Tournament Team

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – University of Delaware seniors Brock Niggebrugge and Adam Davis made the most of their final games with the Blue Hens as the duo was named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association Tournament team.
Niggebrugge, who started all five games in the tournament, posted a .462 batting average with two runs scored and one RBI. The shortstop was also a reliable defensive presence for the Hens during the tournament and throughout the season..
Davis saved his best performance for last as the senior captain tossed a complete game five-hitter in Delaware's 3-1 victory over William & Mary on Thursday. The third team All-CAA selection also struck out six batters to earn his sixth win of the season and prolong the Delaware season.
UNCW, who won the CAA Tournament Championship with a 7-6 victory over Charleston on Saturday, placed six players on the all-tournament team including the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, Corey Dick.
Taylor Clarke and Hayden McCutcheon, who earned the win over UD Saturday, represented College of Charleston on the squad, while Northeastern's Cam Hanley rounded out the all-tournament selections.
