Former Delaware Lacrosse Standout John Ciliberto to be Inducted into NJCAA Hall of Fame

In his senior year in 2000, the Blue Hens went 10-6, were ranked as high as No. 15 nationally, and was the America East regular season tri-champions.
Individually, the criminal justice major played in 33 career games with 22 starts and recorded two goals and one assist while scooping up 136 groundballs. His 78 groundballs during the 2000 season led the team.
He was a team tri-captain in 2000 when he earned second team All-American honors by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Coaches Association (USILA), was a first team All-America East selection, played in the USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game, and earned the team's Alumni Association Most Valuable Player Award.
Joining Ciliberto in the induction class will be Steve Dauses (Baltimore Junior College, now Baltimore City Community College), Kip Fulks (CCBC Essex), Brian Kelly (CCBC Essex), Mark Mangan (CCBC Catonsville), Maury LaPointe (Anne Arundel Community College), Tim Puls (CCBC Essex), Justin Berdeguez (CCBC Essex), Kyle Hartzell (CCBC Essex) and Zach Thornton (CCBC Essex). The NJCAA tournament banquet will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn,5015 Campbell Boulevard, White Marsh, Md.
