Delaware Football to Appear Three Times as Part of 2015 CAA Television Package

RICHMOND, Va. -- University of Delaware football will be showcased on live television three times during the upcoming 2015 season as part of the Colonial Athletic Association television package released on Tuesday by the league office.
The Blue Hens will also appear on live television on Sept. 19 at Villanova (12 noon on Comcast SportsNet), Oct. 3 at home vs. William & Mary (7:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Network), and Nov. 14 at home vs. James Madison (3:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet). Both Villanova and JMU advanced to the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
Delaware's Sept. 26 game at Atlantic Coast Conference contender North Carolina may also be televised but no outlet has been confirmed at this time.

CAA Football is again set to feature one of the nation's top lineups with partners NBCSN, NBC Sports Regional Networks and the American Sports Network.
CAA Football's broadcast partners will televise a total of 24 regular-season games in 2015. Four of the contests - including the Delaware vs. William & Mary game on Oct. 3 from Delaware Stadium - will be carried nationally on NBCSN. The Emmy Award-winning network is the 24/7 cable home for NBC Sports, and is available in more than 84 million households.
NBC Sports Regional Networks – which include CSN Mid-Atlantic, CSN Philadelphia, CSN New England and SNY – will carry 11 CAA Football games this season.
The CAA Football on American Sports Network package will include nine games this fall. ASN – the collegiate sports initiative of the Sinclair Broadcast Group – has affiliates that reach approximately 38.9-percent of U.S. households. Sinclair operates 162 television stations airing 376 channels in 79 markets, and has affiliations with all the major networks nationwide.
CAA Football's televised games will also be available on a variety of desktop, mobile, tablet and smart TV devices. NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group's live streaming product - will carry each of the NBCSN and CSN games at no cost to authenticated subscribers.
In addition, CAA.tv will provide free digital simulcasts of every ASN game, and of the CSN contests for out-of-market viewers.
CAA Football's 2015 television package gets underway on Sept. 12 when Rhode Island visits UAlbany in the season's first league matchup. The following Saturday will showcase the first two CSN telecasts. Delaware at Villanova gets the double-header started at noon, followed by UAlbany at James Madison at 3 p.m. NBCSN's national package picks up on Oct. 3 with a primetime matchup between William & Mary and Delaware at 7:30 p.m.
In total, CAA Football's television lineup includes at least one game on every Saturday between Sept. 12 and Nov. 21. Four of the Saturdays – Sept. 19, Oct. 3, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 – will feature a CAA Football triple-header.
Specific CSN and ASN clearances will be announced weekly throughout the season. CAA Football will release additional non-conference television details when they become available.
The CAA will hold its annual CAA Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 28, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore beginning at 9 a.m. Head coaches and players from the 12 CAA member schools will be on hand to conduct interviews with media members who cover the league. The CAA will also be producing live and taped videos as part of the event on www.caasports.com.
