Former Blue Hen Offensive Lineman Erle Ladson Signs With Cleveland Browns

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Erle Ladson, a four-year member of the University of Delaware football team from 2010-13, signed with the National Football League's Cleveland Browns on Tuesday.
Ladson (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Hayes) started all 12 games at offensive tackle in 2013 for the Blue Hens, and ended his career having played in 48 games with 23 starts. He participated in the NFLPA Collegiate All-Star Game following the 2013 season.
Ladson was a member of Delaware's 2010 NCAA FCS runner-up squad, and as a senior helped the Blue Hens score 30 or more points eight times and rank second in the CAA in scoring offense.
Ladson was signed as an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders in 2014, and played in 12 games for the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators this year.
