Delaware Football Takes Part in Media/Photo Day

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware football team took part in annual Media/Photo Day festivites Sunday afternoon at Delaware Stadium.
Players and coaches had group, individual, and action photos taken, conducted interviews with media members, and chatted and signed autographs with fans as part of the annual event.
Delaware, which is preparing for the season opener Sept. 4 vs. Jacksonville (Fla.) at Delaware Stadium, will begin its second week of preseason drills with a 3 p.m. practice Monday on the UD Practice Fields.
Practices will continue Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday at 3 p.m., Thursday at 3:30 p.m., Friday at 3 p.m., and Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The team will take part in its second scrimmage of the preseason Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Delaware Stadium.
All practices and scrimmages are free and open to the public.
Great season ticket packages, mini-plans, and single game ticket packages are still available for the 2015 season. Tickets to Delaware's six home games at Delaware Stadium are available for as little as $15 per game and can be purchased online at www.BlueHens.com, by phone at 302-831-2257, or in-person at the Delaware Ticket Office at the Bob Carpenter Center, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Group discounts for as low as $5 per ticket are also available.
Season ticket packages for as low as $89 are still available including special discounted rates for alumni, families, faculty, and staff. Among the special discounts is the inaugural Triple Option Plan, which allows fans to purchase a ticket to one game in September, one game in October, and one game in November for just $44.
