Head Coach Rolf van de Kerkhof
"I'm happy for our team to get back on the winning track. They have done an outstanding job with going 9-1 and remain humble and focused on what is important: our next hockey moment! I also would like to compliment them for the way they went about the new playing system we had in place for today's game. Another exciting moment for us was to welcome Maddie (O'Beirne) and Krissy (Mikelson) back to active playing status within the team setting after recovering from injury. As a program, we are excited to start CAA play. Our player and team development over the first 10 games this season has been excellent and the Blue Hens will be able to trust their preparation." Jacki Coveleski returned to action this weekend after missing four games with a knee injury.
· Maddie O'Beirne and Krissy Mikelson made their season debuts, also after sitting out with injuries.
