Delaware to Host Blue Hens Winter Field Day Event Saturday, Feb. 13

NEWARK, Del. -- On Saturday, Feb. 13, the University of Delaware will host its first ever Blue Hens Winter Field Day event. The two-hour pregame event will take place in the Delaware Field House beginning at 1 p.m.
Free and open to all Blue Hen boys & girls ages 5 to 12, participants will be educated on the importance of fitness in a series of Field Day activities led by Club & Varsity student-athletes. Participants must register in advance as space is limited.
No equipment is needed by participants. However, comfortable athletic attire and sneakers are strongly recommended.
Following the Field Day event, participants will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the UD Men's Basketball game vs. Hofstra at 5 p.m. at The BOB. All kids who participated will be invited to form the Hens High Five Tunnel during halftime of the game.
Fans wishing to participate in the Blue Hens Winter Field Day can register by CLICKING HERE. Online event registration is open until filled, or 4 p.m. on Friday, February 5. Space is subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must register in advance. Day of registration will not be available.
