NORFOLK, Va. – For the second time in three seasons, the University of Delaware women's tennis team will have four players represent the Blue Hens at the ITA Atlantic Regional, hosted by Old Dominion University at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center
The Hens will open play Friday at 3 p.m. with two doubles teams in action.
Freshman Brooke Pilkington (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) will pair with sophomore Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) to face the Navy duo of Amanda Keller and Carlee Conway. Pilkington and Komer currently hold a record of 7-2 on the year and have won five straight.
Graduate student Denny LaMachia (Hopkinton, Mass./Hopkinton) and junior Amanda Studnicki (Normal, Ill./Normal West) will match up against Abby Amos and Rebecca Harris from CAA rival James Madison. LaMachia and Studnicki are 5-3 so far this season.
