Delaware Field Hockey Announces Spring Competition Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware field hockey team will engage in five competition dates this spring, after capturing their third consecutive CAA championship this fall.
The team will host three of the five games set for the spring season, opening at Fred P. Rullo Stadium against American, Temple and Villanova on Saturday, March 19beginning at 11 a.m.
The Blue Hens will then welcome six teams to Newark on April 9, in addition to a Delaware Alumnae squad. Columbia, Monmouth, Millersville, LaSalle, Penn and Saint Joseph's will be in attendance for the tournament with games beginning at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, the team will be honored for their success during the 2015 campaign with the annual team banquet and ring ceremony that evening.
The team looks forward to a challenging spring schedule that will allow them to gauge their development prior to the 2016 season.
