UD Baseball, Softball Games on Friday Cancelled Due To Impending Snow/Cold

NEWARK, Del. -- Due to the impending snow and frigid temperatures in the forecast for Friday, the opening day of UD baseball's Bob Hannah Invitational and UD softball's Blue Hen Blast Tournament have been cancelled.
The Bob Hannah Invitational schedule for Saturday has been flipped, as Delaware State and UMass-Lowell will begin at 11 a.m. while the Blue Hens will face UMass-Lowell at 2:30 p.m. UD will face UMass-Lowell at 11 a.m. and Delaware State at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Norfolk State will no longer be attending the Blue Hen Blast Tournament, as Delaware, Bucknell and Delaware State will play a round robin format on both Saturday and Sunday. The Blue Hens will play Delaware State at 10:30 a.m. and Bucknell at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and will take on Bucknell at 1 p.m. and Delaware State at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
