Delaware Places Four on All-Colonial Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse Teams

Major, an economics major from Royersford, Pa. (Spring-Ford HS), finished as the team leader in goals (24), points (32), and shots (84) and scored two or more goals six times, including a career-high six vs. Rutgers and four against Towson.
He was named the CAA Player of the Week, NCAA.com National Offensive Player of the Week, and USILA National Offensive Player of the Week on Apr. 18 for that four-goal performance in the 10-7 upset win at then No. 7 ranked Towson.
Haynes, an exercise science major from Moorestown, N.J. (Moorestown HS), ranked among the top rookies in the league and was exceptional on the defensive side of the field for the Blue Hens all season long.
He played in 14 games and led the team with 42 groundballs and with 16 caused turnovers while also winning 7 of 14 faceoff attempts. He had season-highs of three caused turnovers vs. Bucknell and eight groundballs vs. Rutgers and ranked No. 3 in the CAA in groundballs per game (3.0) and No. 6 in caused turnovers (1.1). He also ranked among the top 15 freshmen in the nation in both categories.
Romagnoli, a first-year transfer from Marquette and a native of Cazenovia, N.Y. (Christian Brothers Academy), was Delaware's second leading scorer on the season as he finished his first year at UD with 21 goals and 10 assists for 31 points.
He ranked No. 2 in the CAA among all freshmen with 19 goals scored and his two game-winning goals led the team. He scored in 10 of 12 games after breaking into the lineup early in the season and netted a career-high and UD freshman single game record six goals in an early season win over VMI.
DeLargy, a senior co-captain and finance major from Morristown, N.J. (Morristown HS), played in all 15 games with 14 starts and ranked No. 3 on the team in goals scored (15), points (22), and shots (57). Delaware's active career scoring leader with 52 goals, he had four multiple goal games in 2016 and scored a point in nine straight games at one point.
