Delaware Football Alters Starting Times for Stony Brook, Villanova Home Games at 1 p.m.

NEWARK, Del. - University of Delaware football has announced that the starting times for home games against Colonial Athletic Association foes Stony Brook and Villanova this fall have been changed.
Both games have been moved to 1 p.m. kickoffs at Delaware Stadium this coming fall.
The Oct. 22 matchup with first time opponent Stony Brook was originally scheduled for 3:30 p.m. but has been moved ahead to a 1 p.m. start.
The regular season finale Nov. 19 against Villanova - the annual Battle of Blue matchup and the 50th meeting all-time between the classic foes - has also been moved to a 1 p.m. kickoff.
The Delaware-Villanova game time could altered once again if it is televised as part of the Comcast SportNet and American Sports Network package with the CAA. CSN and ASN will showcase the best matchups on Nov. 19 based on the conference standings. The networks will choose the games no later than two weeks in advance. Games times if televised would either be 12 noon or 3:30 p.m
Great season ticket packages are on sale now with single game tickets set to go on sale beginning Aug. 1. Ticket hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
